Carol Costa is an award-winning playwright. Her plays have been produced in New York, Los Angeles, and in regional theaters across the country.
With a business background in accounting and real estate, Carol has written numerous newspaper and magazine articles and has worked as a correspondent for the Phoenix Business Journal and the Tucson Business Chronicle. She has also co-authored two books for The Penguin Group: TEACH YOURSELF ACCOUNTING IN 24 HOURS, released in April, 2001 and THE COMPLETE IDIOT'S GUIDE to SURVIVING BANKRUPTCY released in October, 2001.
Her novels include, LABOR OF LOVE, (Avalon Books) and MY BARGAIN WITH GOD (Xlibris Books) based on the incredible true story of Joyce Martin, a nationally-known psychic who works with police departments across the country.
Carol's short stories have been published in magazines, Chicken Soup books, and in the anthology series, Women Sleuths, published by Crossing Press.
For ten years, Carol was the literary advisor for Star Literary Service, a WGA agency that handled screenplays and television material. Carol has sold segments to television shows and two of her scripts have been optioned for television movies. Carol has also worked as an editor and theater critic.
